Established in 1993, New Consultancy and Relief Organization (NCRO) is an Afghan humanitarian and development organization working alongside communities to address urgent needs and strengthen self-reliance. We support people affected by poverty, displacement, conflict, and natural disasters. Guided by community priorities, we combine humanitarian assistance with livelihood opportunities, essential services, and community infrastructure to help families recover and rebuild. An Afghanistan where communities can live with dignity, access essential services, and build secure, sustainable livelihoods. Our programs Integrated humanitarian and development programs shaped by community priorities. Food assistance, improved farming practices, irrigation, and agricultural support help families meet their needs and strengthen resilience. Timely relief, essential supplies, and shelter support help people affected by conflict, displacement, and natural disasters. School support, literacy, and skills development create learning opportunities for children, young people, and communities. Health awareness, nutrition support, and community initiatives contribute to healthier families and improved well-being. Safe water systems, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion support healthier living conditions. Vocational training, income-generating activities, and infrastructure rehabilitation help families rebuild and sustain their livelihoods. Humanitarian assistance & resilience NCRO’s work brings together food and cash assistance, safe water, shelter, livelihood skills, and community infrastructure. We prioritize households facing the greatest needs, including displaced families, returnees, and people affected by disasters, while supporting host communities. Where we work NCRO’s work includes communities in Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, and Laghman, alongside experience implementing projects in Herat.
